Explore with us! Terracon's Southern California Metro locations are seeking a Construction Materials and Inspection Project Manager to join their team. This role offers opportunities to work on various construction and transportation infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. General Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the Construction Materials and Inspection project to ensure safe completion on time, within scope, and within budget. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, troubleshooting operational issues, resource management, project scheduling, budgeting, working with vendors and contractors, conducting meetings, and reporting project status. The role also involves setting priorities, coordinating staff, communicating with clients, and overseeing invoicing and change orders. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of small to medium-sized projects. Define project scope, schedule, and budget with the client or NAM. Design and implement project plans. Lead safety efforts, ensuring compliance with safety plans. Resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Develop resources for project completion, including calculations, reports, schedules, budgets, and selecting materials and staff. Partner with other departments for specialized resources. Conduct meetings and prepare reports on project status. Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate staff to meet milestones. Coordinate with APR for oversight and reviews at critical junctures. Coordinate with accounting for financial management, invoicing, and collections. Understand and manage project-related risks according to company policies. Lead safety initiatives and promote a safe work environment. Monitor and improve project quality standards, engaging APRs early on. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field with at least 5 years' experience, or 9 years' related experience in lieu of a degree. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history. Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or similar relevant certification.
