About The Role CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineering Manager, Data Services to help grow our global team of engineers focused on deploying and maintaining a first class cloud native platform. We are looking for a highly-technical leader with experience managing a distributed team and a solid understanding several key technologies. What You'll Do Manage a team of engineers responsible for the deployment, operations and scaling of the following data platforms. Apache Cassandra Apache Kafka Elasticsearch Caching (Memcached, redis) Relational Databases (postgresql, mysql) Hadoop Zookeeper Experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux environments. Experience running on bare metal. Experience operating within the cloud, preferably AWS. What You'll Need Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams. Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written.
