Summary/objective:
Students 2 Science, Inc. (S2S) is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to inspiring, motivating, and empowering students to pursue careers in STEM. We achieve this through two signature programs:

The ISAAC Program
– In-person, hands-on STEM experiences in a state-of-the-art commercial laboratory.
????
The V-Lab Program
– Virtual STEM instruction, bringing laboratory experiences directly into classrooms via interactive kits and remote guidance.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Laboratory Instructor to join our team and ignite a passion for STEM in minds!
Essential functions:
As a Laboratory Instructor, you will:
Lead hands-on STEM experiments in the ISAAC In-Person Laboratory Program for Middle and High School students.
Prepare, organize, and maintain STEM activities and laboratory equipment for ISAAC Programs.
Train and mentor volunteers, interns, and assistant instructors, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
Develop and refine STEM curriculum, including new experiments, student guides, and lesson plans aligned with Next Science Standards (NGSS).
Foster an inclusive, engaging, and inspiring STEM learning environment that encourages curiosity and discovery.
Facilitate engaging remote lab instruction through the V-Lab Virtual Program, when needed.
Ensure lab safety by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

???? Bilingual – Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.
???? Demonstrated analytical, biological, or biochemical laboratory skills.
???? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
???? Strong auditory and visual skills for effective instruction
???? Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. (lab equipment, supplies, etc.)
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum – Master’s Degree or equivalent in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
– PhD in STEM field
Prior analytical chemistry, molecular biology, or laboratory experience (academic, industrial, or educational setting)
Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training middle or high school students is a plus
Physical Requirements:
A significant amount of time is spent sitting and standing.
