Environmental Testing Technician
to join our team. As an Environmental Testing Technician, you will play a vital role in assessing residential, commercial, and industrial properties for environmental hazards such as mold, asbestos, and lead. Your work will directly contribute to creating safer environments for our clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections to collect air, surface, and material samples for environmental testing.
Test for hazardous materials, including mold, asbestos, lead, and other pollutants, following industry standards and regulations.
Operate and maintain specialized equipment for sampling and testing.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommend next steps for mitigation if hazards are detected.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental safety regulations.
Communicate findings and testing processes to clients clearly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures and results.
Assist in keeping equipment calibrated and ensure proper handling of samples for laboratory analysis.
Stay up to date with advancements in environmental testing techniques and regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience in environmental testing or a related field is a plus but not required; we will provide training.
Knowledge of environmental hazards, including mold, asbestos, and lead, is .
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficient in basic computer programs and report-writing tools.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to client sites.
