Summary – Fabricator / Welder: We are seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder that would be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal by applying appropriate welding techniques to support the production of high quality, small batch products with a well-respected long-standing precision manufacturer in Kansas City.

Responsibility Summary – Fabricator / Welder:
- Use manual and CNC controlled saws, lathes, drill press, and grinder to fabricate metal to specifications
- Arc, TIG, and MIG welding
- Read and interpret blueprints and other shop documentation
- Leads or supports prototype fabrication and process development for new or custom products
- Follow safety and quality standards.
Qualification Summary – Fabricator / Welder:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of related welding and fabrication experience
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Advanced knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking practices, including proficiency with multiple welding processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems, lean manufacturing, 5S and continues improvement principles
- Must have good math skills
- Able to safely lift up to 50lbs
