Spares Parts Specialist
Our Spares Parts Specialists are important members of our Customer Care team. As a Spare Parts Specialist, you will assist customers in identifying correct replacement parts, and entering and tracking orders while communicating both internally and externally to ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities
Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities: Receives calls and emails from customers and internal employees to provide answers to inquiries revolving around order status, product information, account status, pricing, product or service Utilizing SAP; routes shipping invoices and controlled documents and maintains records for insurance purposes Filing, typing, and performing standard transactions using the current UGA business system Communicate with European sister-company representatives, brokerage vendors, customs and internal UGA staff Provides vacation relief for other Spare Parts team members Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.): High school diploma or GED and 2-3 years position related experience Position requires basic to intermediate typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office, data processing) Experience working in customer relations utilizing professional written and verbal communications Position requires basic to intermediate math and problem solving skills Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment Requires ability to follow standard written and verbal instructions such as bills of materials and shipping documents, or equivalent Basic knowledge of inventory management techniques Ability to read drawings and prints Preferred Qualifications (Certificates, Training, Licenses, and Experience): Knowledge of customs and international shipping procedures and regulations Customer relations and customer interaction experience Previous experience with UGA business system or equivalent for basic process transactions Bi-Lingual (English/German and/or English/Spanish preferred) Other (Supervisory Responsibilities, Physical Demands, Travel): Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized work station May be exposed to dust and moving machine parts There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position Core Competencies: Job Knowledge Initiative Decision Making Problem Solving Adaptability Time Management and Productivity Quality Communication Customer Service Results Driven United Grinding North America, Inc. is a committed Equal Opportunity Employer EEO-M/F/Disabled/Vets
