Transport, position, and provide comfort for patients, always maintaining a safe and aseptic environment.Assemble instruments, supplies, and equipment according to surgical needsScrub in and maintain sterile techniques throughout proceduresAssist in patient transfer, skin prep, draping, and specimen handlingSupport physicians and nurses during surgical procedures with precise instrumentation handlingActively contribute to positive surgical outcomes, including performing accurate surgical countsClean, maintain, and troubleshoot surgical instruments and equipmentFunction as Lead Surgical Tech when required, mentoring peers and supporting RN leadershipPerform additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and effective careWhat Sets BRG Apart:At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
