We are seeking an experienced Cytology Supervisor to lead our Cytology Laboratory in Medford, OR . This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, and OSHA) , and maintaining high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is a certified Cytotechnologist with strong leadership, technical expertise, and quality assurance experience.
Key Responsibilities:-
Supervise Cytology laboratory staff , providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

Oversee specimen processing, microscopic screening, and quality control procedures .

Perform microscopic evaluations of gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens , ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Ensure laboratory compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements .

Maintain and troubleshoot cytology equipment and oversee laboratory inventory.

Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory personnel, and healthcare providers to ensure diagnostic accuracy.

Monitor and improve workflows, efficiency, and laboratory procedures .

Assist with budget planning, personnel management, and quality improvement initiatives .

Participate in continuing education and training programs to keep the lab up-to-date with industry advancements.

Bachelor s degree in Cytotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

Completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program .

ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) certification required ; Specialist in Cytotechnology (SCT) preferred.

Licensure in Oregon (if required by state regulations).

3+ years of experience as a Cytotechnologist .

Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred .

Strong understanding of cytology laboratory regulations, workflows, and quality assurance .

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills .

Day Shift (Full-Time, 40 hours per week)
