Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with a focus on building relationships and driving sales. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored transportation solutions.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the transportation and logistics sector. Collaborate with carrier and management teams to ensure accurate pricing, operations and efficient service delivery. Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities within the supply chain and logistics industries. Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients, showcasing our services and solutions. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using transportation management systems. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Experience Proven experience in sales, particularly within the logistics or transportation sectors. Familiarity with supply chain processes and terminology. Strong understanding of inside sales techniques and strategies. Experience negotiating contracts and pricing agreements in the 3PL space effectively. Knowledge of transportation management systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients at all levels. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
