About the job Electrical Engineer - Data Center
The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas. Develop Electrical design for Data Center projects. Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications. Act as an Owners Rep and support various engineering activities including design reviews, creation & review of MOP/EOPs, support of site operations, etc. Prepare technical documents such as reports or design calculations. Perform site condition assessments. Coordinate with regional and global design teams Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area Do project studies Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis. Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues Occasional travel for site visits (up to 10% travel) Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, with desire to develop into project lead for Data Center projects. Revit / AutoCAD experience. National Electric Code experience (as it relates to Building Design). ETAP / SKM experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
Minimum of 3 years related work experience
