About the Role

Join a

well-established hospitalist team

of 60+ FTEs, supported by a dedicated group of nocturnists and APPs, with a closed ICU and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

As

Associate Medical Director , you will:

Lead operational strategy and daily functions for the Hospitalist team with

0.5 FTE protected administrative time

and

0.5 FTE clinical duties . Collaborate with an experienced

Assistant Medical Director

focused on quality outcomes and operations. Partner with the

Hospital Medicine RN Supervisor

and liaise with nursing and other inpatient services. Be supported by a dedicated

Office Assistant

for calendar management and scheduling. Report to the

Medical Director of Adult Inpatient Services

and work in dyad partnership with the

Director of Hospital Operations

with strong background and data analytics. What We're Looking For

MD/DO, board-certified in Internal or Family Medicine Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain 5+ years of clinical experience preferred Prior leadership experience is strongly preferred Additional training (MBA, MHA, leadership development) is a plus What You'll Gain

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $345,000 - $527,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
