About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director for its BEAM Circular Accelerator, a program dedicated to supporting visionary founders in the fields of circular bioeconomy and regenerative agricultural solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational success of the accelerator, including logistics, recruiting and selecting startup applicants, tracking program metrics, and preparing reports. This role requires active participation in all aspects of the accelerator program, from recruitment to networking events, and a commitment to building a strong portfolio of innovative bioeconomy startups. The Managing Director will also be expected to manage grant requirements, build relationships with industry leaders, and represent the company in the local and regional startup ecosystems.
Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a background in operations, logistics, program or project management, and grant management, with experience in supporting an accelerator, incubator, or venture fund being highly recommended. An entrepreneurial spirit, a self-starter attitude, and a strong interest in circular bioeconomy systems, agricultural biotechnology, and sustainable agriculture are essential. The role demands a collaborative, team-based mindset, the ability to work in a fast-paced, independent environment, and a commitment to equity across race, place, and gender.
