MU Health Care is looking for a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Unit Clerk. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional guest relations skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a positive and orderly unit atmosphere, supporting both staff and patients with courtesy and respect. On the Neuroscience unit, we provide specialized care for patients with complex neurological conditions, including hemorrhagic bleeds, ischemic strokes, neurosurgical cases (such as craniotomy and spinal procedures), and seizure disorders. This unit offers a unique focus on EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) patients who stay for continuous EEG monitoring to evaluate and manage seizures. During this period, patients are closely monitored by EEG technicians and the Neurology team as they undergo seizure evaluation, helping to identify seizure types and origins for targeted treatment strategies.
