The State of Connecticut, Department of Agriculture Bureau of Regulatory Services is accepting applications for the position of License and Application Analyst for its Licensing Unit. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position with a hybrid work opportunity located in Hartford, CT. The salary range is $69,341 - $87,846/year. The position is open to the public and will close on August 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM. As part of the Licensing Unit, you will manage the full lifecycle of licensing and credentialing for over 6,800 active credentials across 40+ license types, all administered through the eLicense system. Your responsibilities will include end to end application intake, data accuracy checks, fee processing, and digital license issuance via eLicense. You will also be responsible for vigilant review and verification of documentation to ensure statutory compliance and completeness, proactive applicant communication and issue resolution, and maintaining and enhancing licensing databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to support unit workflows and system improvements. The position requires five (5) years of experience performing technical or complex clerical duties involving the review or processing of licenses, certifications, or permits for a governmental regulatory agency or in a regulated industry. College training may be substituted for the general experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree.
