Parsons is seeking a talented
Senior Civil Designer
to join our team. In this role, you will develop complex layout and design drawings using theoretical and practical knowledge, ensuring they meet company and industry standards and codes. What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare complex layout and design drawings using CAD software. Interpret and ensure conformance to standards, codes, and company policies. Utilize advanced software to complete assignments. Collaborate with Engineers and other disciplines for coordinated designs. Develop layout requirements and alternative design options. Review orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others. Assist in training junior Designers. Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate. What Required Skills You'll Bring:
2-year technical degree or equivalent from an accredited course. 8+ years of relevant experience. Strong PC and CAD skills. Efficiency in using software for design tasks. Desired Skills:
Experience in civil infrastructure, including site design, roads, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater, especially on US government projects. Proficiency in Civil 3D. Security Clearance:
This position does not require a security clearance. It is part of our Federal Solutions team, supporting US government missions in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. $35.05 - $61.35 per hour.
