We are currently looking for eager, talented individuals to sell our niche home improvement products. Project Sales Professionals are a part of the Outside Sales Team working with customers in their homes giving dynamic sales presentations. We are currently looking for someone familiar with the area to join our growing team. This person must be a result-driven individual who has a track record of client relationship management. The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to multi-task during the day while being extremely detail oriented. The main goals of our Sales Professionals are to drive sales, increase market share, and enhance our relationships with our clients with positive sales and margin results that meet or exceed our sales goals. The ideal candidate will be able to represent those values in every interaction they have with our Jacob clients. Essential Responsibilities:
Understand and follow established procedures for placing customer orders, servicing customers, adhering to pricing guidelines, and recommending changes, when warranted, to achieve overall company goals Perform In-home Dynamic and Masterful Sales Presentations Demonstrate the ability to remain resolute and resilient under stress Execute our service model and overall game plan to maximize the presence of our products in the St. Louis/Metro East Area Works alongside the Sales Manager to meet and exceed sales targets to achieve maximum sales in assigned territories Will need experience in problem-solving in the building industry and can promptly address customer problems, and when appropriate, forward, in a timely manner, to the appropriate person to resolve the issue Be detail-oriented (this is a must) Provide and report market
information/research
on pricing and/or customer needs/special requests Basic Qualifications: Driver’s License Auto Insurance
As a company policy, you will be required to carry $250,000 /$500,000/$250,000 on your car insurance. Sales Experience Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal) Excellent Time Management Skills, with flexibility (i.e., Making customer calls in clusters, scheduling territory coverage efficiently, and spending maximum time in front of customers) Excellent Organizational Skills, including planning each week, each day, and each call with intention Previous sales experience with successful achievement of increasing revenue through current customers and developing new customer base Ability to follow established administrative procedures, including maintenance of client information sheets/files Timely submission of credit applications for new accounts, sales plans, forecasts, customer target information, monthly market updates, and expense reports Ability to adhere to all company
policies/procedures
and operate effectively within established budgetary restraints Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience growing sales in a territory 5+ years of relevant building material experience Our Core Focus
