A leading distributor is currently seeking a
Warehouse Supervisor with 3+ years progressive advancement in warehouse operations to become a part of our team. Must be Willing to relocate based on business needs. To be successful in this role, accuracy and efficiency are essential. You also must be a team player in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a minimum of three years of prior experience in progressive advancement in warehouse operations. An associate degree and or experience is preferred. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •Supervise day-to-day activities of warehouse staff, including shipping and receiving leads and warehouse associates. •Monitor warehouse staff performance toward KPIs; address performance deficiencies as appropriate in partnership with Warehouse Manager (or Regional Operations Manager as appropriate). •Review and route sales orders. •Monitor quality control prior to shipping. •Develop warehouse staffing schedule based on the resource requirement model. •Oversee daily cycle counts; monitor daily inventory accuracy and adjust as necessary. •Monitor warehouse supply levels. •Coordinate transportation services. •Accurately enter, edit and look up order information using GTS MAS200. •Accurately enter, edit and look up shipping information in UPS system. •Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipping with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. •Receive, stock and replenish inventory with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. •In smaller locations or in the absence of a Facility Manager, responsible for: •Assisting walk-in customers and payment processing; •Providing customers with receipts; •Following strict cash handling procedures as outlined by the Company; •Preparing bank deposits; •Securing and safeguarding payments in facility safe; •Delivering bank deposit on a regular basis; •General facility, location and Company vehicle management; •Posting sales to house accounts. •Establish good working relationship with others, to include employees, co-workers, members of other GTSteams, customers, etc. •Foster positive communications and relationships with businesses, vendors and consumers. •Keep up to date on industry trends and developments. •Adhere to company policies and procedures. •Actively participate and conduct meetings as requested. •Other duties as assigned. •Must be Willing to relocate based on business needs
QUALIFICATIONS •Associate’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field; combination of education andexperience will be evaluated for equivalency •Minimum three years’ distribution experience, including experience in a high SKU count environment andsupervisory or lead responsibilities •Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt desired. Expertise in other performance improvement methodologies desired. •Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision •Demonstrated ability to lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve KPI targets •High degree of competency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word •Experience with distribution-specific ERPs and WMS/TMS systems •Demonstrated experience with warehouse turn-around and process improvement •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Ability to work effectively as part of a team •Ability to safely operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment, including
obtainingappropriate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS •Normal warehouse environment with moderate noise levels from warehouse equipment. •Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. •Constant standing, walking, bending, twisting and reaching. •Ability to perform consistent work on a computer is required.
