Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected national practice offering
Cravath-scale compensation
and a collaborative, sophisticated work environment. Qualifications:
A minimum of
2 years of transactional real estate experience
at a law firm.
Experience with
purchase and sale agreements, property management agreements, and leasing agreements
is required.
Experience with
joint ventures
and
borrower-side financing
is preferred.
Strong academic credentials and exceptional
research, writing, and communication skills .
Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters and effectively work within a team.
A proactive, client-service orientation with the ambition and drive to contribute to a growing national practice.
Requirements:
JD from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Ilinois Bar
(or eligibility to waive in).
Submission of a
cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and deal sheet
is required.
