skilled and reliable Line Cook
to join our culinary team and help us deliver outstanding meals to our guests. If you’re passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and love working in a team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook menu items following Villa Antonio’s recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines. • Operate and maintain various kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, ovens, and sauté stations. • Assist in food prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients. • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner, especially during high-volume service hours. • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure a smooth service. • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage, labeling, and disposal. • Assist in inventory management by properly storing and rotating ingredients to minimize waste. • Uphold Villa Antonio Winery’s commitment to quality, presentation, and consistency in every dish.
Qualifications & Experience: • Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar role preferred (restaurant, winery, catering, or banquet experience is a plus). • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. • Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-player mentality. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
