Pay, Available Schedules, and LocationRanging at $36 - $44/hour, paid weekly1st Shift: 6am - 3:30pm, Monday - FridayLocated in Minooka, ILDuties and ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret complex technical drawings, engineering specifications, and handbook formulas relevant to automotive part productionBuild, alter, and repair intricate dies, jigs, fixtures, and special machines used in high-volume automotive manufacturingConstruct and modify tools and dies to meet demanding tight tolerance requirements and rigorous quality standardsOperate a full range of tool room equipment including mills, lathes, surface grinders, CNC machines, and EDMsManufacture custom tools and electrodes with precision, ensuring compatibility with high-speed stamping and forming operationsTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair progressive stamping dies and associated tooling specific to the automotive sectorUse various precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and maintain compliance with automotive quality expectationsSafely operate a forklift and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspaceCollaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support tooling improvements and resolve manufacturing issuesComplete accurate documentation related to tooling maintenance, modifications, and process changesPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications5+ years of experience in tool and die makingJourneyman Tool & Die Maker certification strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to work with tight tolerances and high-precision componentsProficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring equipmentExperience operating a variety of manual and CNC tool room machinery, including EDMStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement(Salary range based on experience)ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
