CNC Machinist

Job DescriptionCNC MachinistAutomation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join a dynamic team in Louisa, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the set-up and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines, as well as proficiency in reading blueprints. Pay RateUp to $30.00 per hour, based on experienceSchedule and hours7 am-3:30 pmCNC Machinist Duties & Responsibilities•Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines for various machining operations; adjust machine settings for optimal performance.•Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances; ensure accuracy in tasks.•Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments; adjust to maintain high-quality standards.•Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment; troubleshoot and resolve machine performance and product quality issues.•Adhere to safety protocols and company policies; maintain a clean and organized work area.CNC Machinist Qualifications & Requirements•Experienced in setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.•Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.•Skilled with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.•Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of machining principles.•Capable of working independently or as part of a team, with technical training in CNC machining preferred.•Able to stand for long periods, lift/carry materials, and possess strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Interested in this job?Click Apply Now, email your resume to , or call us at 540.548.9051 to learn more.
