Job Description:

Design and engineer custom conveyor systems for industrial automation applications using CAD & 3D Inventor software

n

Initiate project kickoff meeting with in-house estimator and the customers engineering team

n

Create mechanical drawings, make routine revisions, and secure the customer drawing approval

n

Manage the communication between the in-house team and the customer throughout the design & engineering of these designs

n

Ensure that the customer is constantly aware of project timelines & final ship date

n

Release job to production and provide ongoing support on an as-needed basis throughout production & final assembly

n

Adhere to department process controls & procedures

Skills Required:

nn

Proficient use in AutoCAD & 3D software (either Inventor or SolidWorks)

n

2 or 4-year mechanical engineering degree but not required

n

Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.

n

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
