As Quality & HSE Manager, you will lead the Quality Assurance and Health, Safety & Environmental functions at our growing manufacturing site. You will be a key player in building a culture of quality, ownership, and safety, while ensuring our processes, systems, and teams meet internal standards and external regulations. This role is both strategic and hands-on deal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management:

n
    n
  • Lead, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and customer expectations.
    • n

    n
  • Own the NCR, CAPA, and audit processes (internal & external).
    • n
n
    n
  • Define and monitor quality KPIs; drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
    • n
n
    n
  • Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and R&D to ensure process controls and product quality.
    • n
n
    n
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of QA technicians and inspectors.
    • n
n

HSE Management:

n
    n
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and other relevant EHS regulations.
    • n
n
    n
  • Develop and implement safety programs, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
    • n
n
    n
  • Lead safety trainings, toolbox talks, and audits to foster a proactive safety culture.
    • n
n
    n
  • Manage hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, and environmental documentation.
    • n
n
    n
  • Coordinate with Facilities and Maintenance for ergonomic and equipment safety standards.
    • n
n

Requirements

n
    n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
    • n
n
    n
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality and/or EHS leadership roles in a manufacturing environment.
    • n
n
    n
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA standards, and risk-based thinking.
    • n
n
    n
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
    • n
n
    n
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
    • n
n
