A leading provider of control systems and capital equipment, this business provides bespoke solutions to customers across a range of industries. Following a period of sustained growth they are now looking to recruit a talented PLC Service Engineer.
Role & Responsibilities:
Respond to service and breakdown calls
nConduct preventative maintenance and back ups of electrical equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
nDiagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients, providing timely solutions.
nInstall new equipment and systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
nOn call 1 full week in 5 and 1 weekend in 5 (flexible rota organised between the 5 on-call engineers)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or in a similar technical role
nEngineering qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND / Degree in Electrical Engineering
nStrong understanding of PLC's & Drives
nA valid driver's license is required for travel to client sites.
