A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Engineer to join the team on a major infrastructure and road scheme in Suffolk.
n This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile, long-term project with excellent opportunities for progression, working within an organisation known for delivering complex civil engineering schemes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering activities across key sections of a large-scale highways and infrastructure project.
nOversee site engineers and ensure technical compliance with designs, specifications, and standards.
nManage quality control, temporary works, and assurance processes.
nLiaise with clients, designers, and stakeholders to resolve engineering issues efficiently.
nSupport the development of construction methodology and contribute to planning and programming.
nPromote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance on site.Requirements:
Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
nProven experience as a Senior Engineer or strong Site Engineer ready to step up.
nBackground in delivering infrastructure, highways, or major civils projects (ideally with a Tier 1 contractor).
nStrong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
nCSCS card; SMSTS and First Aid ().
