The Senior Project Manager's responsibilities include all aspects of project development, including project initiation, design and planning, team organization and leadership, coordination, staff supervision, scheduling, and management to ensure the efficient production and delivery of a well-coordinated quality product in a profitable and timely manner.Responsibilities:Attends scheduling meetingsLeads project team activitiesManages project initiation, research, materials and site furnishing selections, programming, and conceptualizationCoordinates, and approves project presentation materials and participates in design review and client presentationsLeads development of project goals and organizationPrepares consultant agreementsCoordinates design presentationsPrepares and reviews project correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials that meet project intent, schedule, and budget expectationsLeads and coordinates project and client meetingsCoordinates and monitors project and client communicationsPrepares and oversees CAD document production and coordinates drawingsPrepares project specifications and coordinates with drawingsProduces documents within established fee budget and scheduleReviews takeoffs, cost estimates, and manages project budgetsReview construction documentsApproves and seals construction documentsDirects Construction Administration activities and makes site visitsManages project submittal reviewManages project budget and updates leadership monthlyResponds to Project Director and Client requestsEffectively delegates tasks to Staff Designers, Staff Planners, and Student InternsTraining:Serves as a mentor to Staff Designers, Staff Planners, and Student InternsPursues and manages continuing education opportunities in alignment with target markets, licensure requirements, and with RVi Professional Development PlanAttends trade events and professional association conferencesParticipates in annual performance evaluation of Staff Designers and PlannersQualifications:Undergraduate and/or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited Landscape Architecture program10+ years of design experience with a private-practice landscape architecture firmLandscape Architecture LicenseExtensive project and client management experienceTechnical experience in site planning, conceptual design, construction documentation, and construction administration#LI-EB1RVi Benefits: To attract and retain the best professionals in the industry, we aim to provide an excellent working environment and a progressive benefits program designed to support your personal and professional needs.
