Quality Custom Distribution (QCD), a division of Golden State Foods (recognized as a U.S. Best Managed Company), is looking for Class A Drivers to make local, in-store deliveries and be part of a tight-knit union team (Teamsters Local 117). Job Details

4 days on 3 days off (Must be able to work Sat and Sun) Drivers Make between 14-18 Stops This is 100% touch freight delivery, must be able to lift up to 75 plus pounds Drivers are Dispatch between 3PM - 6PM All Trailers have Liftgates no Ramps 36' - 53' Reefer Trailers and Class B Trucks Responsibilities

Qualifications Required of this Position: Must possess a valid driver's license and possess a current DOT Medical certification card. One to three years driving tractor-trailer experience. Must be able to effectively communicate to maintain positive customer relations climate with other drivers/warehouse personnel/customers/supervisors. Capable of standing, walking and repeatedly climbing into and out of road tractor or switch tractor. Must be able to work all necessary work schedules, including holidays/weekends. Requires safely operating equipment in extremes of weather and climatic conditions and ensure working in a cold environment (cooler/freezer). Must be able to frequently lift/handle cases ranging from 5-75 pounds. As required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, commercial drivers must read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand highway signs and traffic signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries in reports and records.
