Engineering Technician
This role reports into production and seeks higher-level engineering support. The Engineering Technician will engage in high-level assembly and rework of medical devices, along with performing higher-level mechanical testing. No voltage or electrical testing will be involved. Responsibilities
Perform high-level assembly and rework of medical devices Conduct higher-level mechanical testing Follow engineering schematics and blueprints Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components Adhere to work instructions and quality standards Essential Skills
Engineering degree (Associate's or Bachelor's with internship/co-op experience) 5+ years of experience with subassembly 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical repair Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with using oscilloscopes Strong understanding of mechanical and engineering principles Work Environment
This position offers a great opportunity for individuals with higher education to gain additional experience in a medical device environment. The role is suitable for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree, provided they have completed an internship or co-op. The work involves using various mechanical tools and adhering to strict quality standards. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
