We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant trained in Interventional Radiology to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. Key responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments Perform pre-procedural evaluations and obtain informed consent Provide post-procedural care and monitoring Manage patient care during interventional procedures Develop and implement treatment plans Provide patient and family education Procedural support includes: Assist with minimally invasive procedures Perform minor procedures independently Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocols Administrative duties include: Complete accurate documentation Coordinate care with other healthcare team members Participate in quality improvement initiatives Maintain continuing education requirements Required qualifications include: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant Current BLS and ACLS certification DEA registration Preferred qualifications include: Board certification in relevant specialty area Experience in interventional radiology or vascular surgery Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or trauma life support Experience with EMR systems Work environment includes: Hospital-based position with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Exposure to radiation requiring adherence to safety protocols Fast-paced environment with emergency and urgent cases Benefits package includes: Competitive salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer matching Paid time off and continuing education allowance Professional liability insurance coverage Opportunities for professional development and advancement About Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital: Located in McMinnville, TN 125 licensed beds Offers 24/7 Hospitalist Onsite Coverage Very busy Emergency Department staffed by ED certified physicians Acute Care Floor as well as 10-bed Geropsych Unit and 15-bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit About McMinnville: Located approximately 45 minutes East of Murfreesboro McMinnville's central location makes it an ideal base for exploring beautiful Middle Tennessee McMinnville has been known for years as the "nursery capital of the world" We offer plenty of outdoor activities including parks, rivers, lakes, golf, and cave tours Live music and performances are held year-round throughout the community About Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners: For nearly 20 years, Saint Thomas Medical Partners has provided primary and specialty care to the community spanning 45 counties in Middle Tennessee, and provides care to over 315,000 patients annually.
