The GE Aerospace facility in McAllen specializes in the repair of engine components used in commercial and military aircraft. These include LPT Nozzles, HPT Nozzles, and HPT Hangars. State of the art technologies in CNC, EDM, and Coating are available, along with advanced technology development within the new Tech Lab. Essential responsibilities include working from process instruction sheets, drawings, and technical documents to ensure product quality, utilizing knowledge to meet all quality assurance standards, measuring work using various instruments, ensuring smooth product flow, setting up and operating CNC machines, maintaining close tolerances, and adhering to safety procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an associate's degree or equivalent, willingness to work overtime and any shift, proficiency in using measuring instruments, and effective communication skills.
