Receptionist/Office Administrator
DPR Construction is seeking a receptionist/office administrator with at least 5 years of administrative experience. This position will work with all members of the organization, as well as our clients and vendors, and will be responsible for the following: Greeting visitors and guests
direct to appropriate person/meeting room. Phones - answering calls and transfer/forward as needed; use VM/EM/cell/ speed dial list. Mail
open, date stamp, sort, and distribute. If time critical, email recipient. Receive incoming packages (UPS, Fed Ex, GSO, Barker Blue, Costco and Couriers ) and notify recipients. Prepare outgoing packages as needed including inter-office mail. Request delivery verification from shipping vendor and maintain shipping log. USPS mail
drop off mail at end of the day on Fridays at post office. Code Fed Ex and GSO account summary for region. Assist marketing with shipping of holiday cards and gifts. E-faxes
direct to appropriate person. Assist with conference room reservations. Assist with conference room set-up for meetings and events. Direct catering vendors to appropriate room for set-up. Assist with daily lunch orders as needed. Provide administrative support as needed. Clean espresso machine once daily. Liaison with facilities manager and janitorial service; promptly reporting any maintenance issues. Support the Learning & Development Manager with in-person training initiatives including planning, day-of logistics, and data management. Assist with scheduling training sessions Booking training rooms Ordering catering Preparing and gathering materials Sending email reminders to learners Serving as an administrator for Workday Learning as needed, assisting with class creation and training data entry Position hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an hour lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00. Work days are Monday through Friday. Qualifications: Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve issues. Professionalism and pleasant demeanor. Proficient computer skills. 5+ years of administrative work. A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude about DPR. This position is salaried.
