Mold Setter
Safely install molds and remove them from the injection molding machines. Install necessary water lines, knockout bars, hydraulic lines, airlines, switches, hoppers, dryers, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment. Job Duties: Perform mold setup as required by production scheduling promptly while abiding by all current safety practices and procedures. Verify all process parameters are correctly applied to press and auxiliary equipment. Remove from the press area all hand tools, hoses, lines & miscellaneous items not required. Remove any accumulated grease, oil, water, and/or fingerprints from the press & relative area before advising production of press readiness. Help material handler as needed (if there are no tools to set). Verify all mold bolts, clamps, water lines, knockouts, airlines, DME, and appropriate nozzle are applied and secure. Fill out all required mold change paperwork. Clean molds at the beginning of each shift. Help keep machines and plants clean. Job Responsibilities: Have at least 6 months of experience in mold setting. Be able to lift 40 lbs. and be able all shift. Operate forklift. Operate overhead crane. Equal Opportunity Employer.
