$24$29 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Maker I to join our team in Newport, MN. This role is ideal for someone with woodworking experience who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to contribute to the creation of high-quality custom cabinetry for both residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities: Read and interpret detailed blueprints and project drawings Select and prepare materials such as wood, plywood, and veneers according to specifications Measure and cut materials accurately using saws, routers, and other woodworking tools Assemble cabinet components using hand and power tools
including gluing, joining, and fastening Sand, stain, and paint cabinets as needed to ensure a high-quality finish Inspect finished products to ensure they meet internal standards and client expectations Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion Participate in training and cross-training opportunities to build skills and versatility Follow all safety policies and company procedures Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Technical degree in woodworking or a related field preferred Experience with woodworking tools and shop equipment Ability to read blueprints and translate them into finished work Strong attention to detail and quality Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed instructions Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
