Work Arrangement - Remote This position does not require employee to be at a specific GM site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role will require them to work at various sites on a regular basis with some remote support of 3rd party providers. This role does require 75%+ domestic and international travel. The purpose of this role is to repair vehicles at assembly sites (VAPs) and vehicle distribution centers (VDCs) throughout North America that the business needs resources at to manage the workload. This position is critical to ensuring quality products delivered on-time to our customers. As a Vehicle Software & Hardware Repair Execution Lead, you will complete vehicle repair at a rate that sustains production operations and ships vehicles direct to commerce. Repair is typically a high-volume operation working with key 3rd party providers. Repair will vary from software updates to component replacement, to electrical/mechanical diagnostics with subsequent root cause repair. Motivate teams & execute to daily repair targets for our manufacturing software leadership and vehicle assembly plants in a manner that delivers quality products on-time to our customers. Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships across software, manufacturing, engineering, supplier quality, remediation, logistics, global supply chain, and aftersales to drive repair initiatives, manage vehicle remediation, and align efforts with future innovations. Analyze and interpret emerging software and hardware quality issues in new vehicles to develop and implement effective remediation strategies, ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams. Lead, mentor, and delegate tasks to a small team of employees and third-party providers, fostering accountability and high performance. Oversee on-site repair operations, ensuring alignment with daily production targets and quality standards. Generate and deliver daily performance reports to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing transparent updates on repair progress and execution. Champion a forward-thinking, adaptable work culture that embraces change and proactively addresses evolving organizational and industry challenges. Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in advanced vehicle diagnostics and repair Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, powertrain, chassis, and EV technologies Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively guide teams and collaborate cross-functionally Analytical mindset with sound decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities Quick learner with a passion for staying current on emerging diagnostic tools and repair methods Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently (75%+ domestic/international) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience in the automotive technical field, ideally as a Certified or Licensed Automotive Technician with 10+ years of hands-on work Familiarity with OEM service and diagnostic platforms, including GM systems (e.g., SI, SPS, GDS, EPS, TLC, MDI) or equivalent tools from other manufacturers Experience with manufacturing and engineering diagnostic tools, such as GBFTT, MERS, GEPICS, GSIP, CHIPS, V-Spy, DPS, or Intrepid Network Adapters Understanding of vehicle logistics systems and tools such as VTIMS or similar platforms Relevant advanced technical certifications or degrees in automotive technology, engineering, or related fields Spanish language proficiency is a plus This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
