Lab Technician
Develop and perform tests for water and wastewater treatment operations. Conduct jar tests to determine and optimize chemical dosing. Evaluate bench and pilot scale operations. Perform columns and batch testing for ion exchange resins, carbon adsorption, and filtration systems. Collect and record data by measuring operating conditions such as pumping rates, pH, ORP, temperature, and pressure. Operate and perform light maintenance on small-scale equipment like pumps, heaters, and mixers. Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn and grow in responsibility on the job. Proficiency with standard laboratory instruments such as pH, TSS, use of probes for measuring process variables, use of HACH spectrophotometer, use of analytical balances, and volumetric glassware. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
