Assists in determining electro-cerebral silence and performs these diagnostic tests with an instrument that records brain waves. Job Duties

Complies with all HR policies, specifically the Code of Conduct Policy at all times. Documents the working condition of a digital EEG instrument. Assists in performing EMGs or nerve conduction testing. Completes work assignments on time/readily accepts assignments. Complies with all Administrative and Departmental Policies at all times, specifically the Patient Rights Policy. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration for use by the health care team. Operates equipment safely and correctly and performs preventative maintenance reports on all functions. Participates in Performance Improvement Activities as assigned by the PI representative. Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED Proficiency in performing EEG testing on multiple patients. American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire Physical Demands

Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
