Description
Shift Supervisor/Intake Worker Provide for shift coverage and be on call nights, weekends and holidays Must be flexible and accept changes to assignment/schedule. Implementing preventive measures through crisis intervention and conflict resolution modalities Implement proper recording and reporting systems for consumer and staff safety Prepare incident reports Conduct curfew checks Conduct building inspections and rounds Perform all other duties as assigned Commitment to empowering others to solve their own problems Valuing a nurturing family as the ideal environment for a person; A conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change; The ability to establish a respectful relationship with persons served to help them gain skills and confidence; The ability to work collaboratively with other personnel and/or service providers or professionals; The capacity to maintain a helping role and to intervene appropriately to meet service goals; and The ability to set limits. Employee must be able to work effectively and efficiently within a highly volatile and demanding work environment. Employee will be responsible to work various shifts and maintain emergency coverage where necessary. Required
BA preferred; Associates Degree Required. Some experience in the field of safety and working with at-risk adults. Must acquire Fire Safety and Fire Coordinator Certificate, CPR/1 Aid and Crisis Intervention/Conflict Resolution Training and State Certification. Must possess good writing and communication skills. Preferred
