Corporate Secretary
Corporate & Securities Practice A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Secretary to support its Corporate & Securities practice group. This position plays a critical role in preparing and managing legal documentation, supporting complex transactions, coordinating calendars and travel, managing billing and expenses, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic legal environment. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days in the office each week. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents with a high degree of accuracy Support attorneys with organizing and executing complex corporate transactions Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate domestic and international travel Enter billing time and prepare expense reports in compliance with firm policies Maintain electronic and physical case files and manage workflow using legal technology platforms Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative teams across multiple offices Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm, supporting corporate and/or securities practice groups Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and Teams Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling Ability to manage changing priorities and work independently under tight deadlines Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as needed Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Some college or a bachelors degree preferred Secretarial certification or ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred Work Environment: Hybrid work model: Minimum of 3 days in office per week (subject to change) Standard work week of 37.5 hours, with additional hours as required Fast-paced, professional legal environment requiring discretion and professionalism Benefits: Medical, dental, & vision 401k match Generous PTO
