To be trained in part time/seasonal Restaurant Bar, Banquet Bar, & Beverage Cart operations. Fast paced & great drinks! As a Bartender & Beverage Cart operator, you are the mixologist. The goal is to create & serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks, as well as food from behind the bar in the dining area, and out on the course! Bartenders create delights for guests to enjoy and remember! Flexibility with schedule as evenings and weekend work REQUIRED. On The Job: Working knowledge & ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks. Assist guests with food & beverage selections. Suggest recommendations, answer questions, inform, and promote food & beverage products and services. Correctly fill drink orders for guests. Correctly fill food orders for guests. Properly handle and process payment via cash, card, & tab operations. Responsible for the proper operation of all bar equipment. Responsible for the proper operations of all beverage cart equipment. Perform proper beverage cart & bar set up, service, & breakdown procedures. Maintain beverage and snack quality and service standards contributing to positive guest experience. Monitor the alcohol intake of guests and ensure they are not over-served; ensure guests are not inebriated before serving alcoholic beverages. Ensure alcoholic beverages are not dispensed to people under the age of 21. Maintain and practice safe beverage cart driving technique. Must have a valid driver's license. Bring Your Own: Bartending & mixology experience. Excellent customer service & communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn & perform. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense with understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
