Rehabilitation Therapist

Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in rehabilitative services. Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff. Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures. Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 - 3 years of Acute Rehab experience is preferred.
