Position: Machine Operator Hours: 3

rd

Shift, 11:00 pm to 6:00 am, 35 hours per week. Paid lunches and breaks Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary: The Machine Loader and Unloader is responsible for safely and efficiently loading raw plastic materials into manufacturing machines and unloading finished or semi-finished products. This role supports production operations by ensuring machines are properly supplied and maintained, and by handling materials according to company quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Unload finished or partially finished plastic products from machines and place them in designated areas for inspection, packaging, or further processing. Monitor machine operation to ensure smooth and continuous production. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, material issues, or quality concerns to supervisors. Clean and maintain work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized environment. Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep accurate records of materials used, products produced, and machine downtime. Assist in packaging, labeling, or stacking of finished goods as needed. Perform routine checks to verify material types and quantities match production specifications. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a manufacturing or plastics environment is a plus. Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical processes. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Work Conditions: Work is typically performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, heat, and plastic fumes. Requires the use of PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
