This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests.As a member of the Seven Falls Retail team, this position will perform sales duties which include greeting the guest, showing merchandise through suggestive selling, ringing, and closing the sale. Support Director of Retail, Retail Operations Manager, Retail Cost Controller, and Retail Supervisors in every aspect of the business.Our employees represent the Broadmoor brand and are Ambassadors of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards. Learn more about Broadmoor here.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned)Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise in an appealing presentationSets up displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote salesEnsures that merchandise is priced appropriatelyAssists guest with selection of merchandise Engages the guest in conversation that is both welcoming and informative to enhancetheir retail experiencePresents the merchandise to guest according to retail department standardsMaintains all housekeeping standards within the shopFollows retail department closing procedures and handles closing reports effectivelyUses the tools provided by retail administration to include daily journal, storepaperwork and communication book to effectively perform job dutiesAdditional duties designated by Director of Retail, Retail Manager, Retail Coordinator or Lead Sales Associate.Ships out merchandise in a Five Star manner, ensuring the package is packedeffectively to avoid breakage during shippingProcesses new merchandise to include checking against receiver, appropriately tagged and presented in an appealing mannerProtects the assets of the hotel by following proper security procedures and handling cash, gift cards, room charges and credit card transactions with accuracyWillingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentUphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesOther duties as assigned.
