Manufacturing and Operations Intern Summer 2024
Location(s): Beatrice, Nebraska Company: Koch Ag & Energy Solutions Career Field: Operations & Manufacturing Job Number: 148306 Our Team What You Will Do As an Operations Intern you will work with our operations team on projects to improve efficiency and up time while learning new skills that will prepare you for future roles. Previous interns have worked on various projects within one of our facilities including: Assist operators with inspecting equipment, processing, and collecting data, performing reliability-based equipment care tasks, collecting samples and quality testing product. Support the operations of the plant to safely produce, store, and ship product by completing safety and environmental checks, while contributing to a culture of personal and collective safety, accountability, and environmental compliance. Partner with other operators, maintenance, and engineering to troubleshoot or repair equipment or plant issues. This is a 4 on/4 off 12-hour shift alternating days & nights. Also, work at heights up to 100 feet, climb stairs/ladders, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., push and pull up to 150 lbs., work in and outdoors in all types of weather and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
