Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Urology Labor Pool Physician Assistant to join our team at Riverside Urology Specialists in Gloucester, Virginia. About the Position
Clinic-Based role with inpatient coverage responsibilities Monday through Friday, Days No call obligation Collaborative work environment, joining our experienced, board-certified urologist Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessment, including patient history and physical examination Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with urologist Assist in preoperative and postoperative care of patients undergoing urological procedures and surgeries Provide patient education on urological health, disease, prevention, treatment options and lifestyle modifications Prescribe medications and treatments according to protocols and within the scope of practice Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards Conditions Treated:
Bladder Cancer Benign prostate hypertrophy Erectile dysfunction Kidney cancer Kidney stones Low testosterone Infertility Prostate cancer Urinary incontinence Education:
Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Required:
Meet comprehensive and professional standards Have a current, valid state of Virginia medical license or be eligible for one Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration More about Riverside, a great place to work.
