IT Infrastructure Specialist
As an IT Infrastructure Specialist at ATX, you will maintain and enhance the IT systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, VM's, Veeam, video security systems and computers. Reporting directly to the IT Assistant Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of our technical systems and provide essential support to end-users. This role involves coordinating closely with the headquarters and related companies within the region to align IT strategies and ensure consistent service delivery. Main Duties
Technical Support and Maintenance: Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for network-related issues, provision network resources to accommodate new projects and maintain up-to-date technical documentation. Project Management: Collaborate on IT projects, involving everything from requirements gathering to project planning and implementation. Manage scheduling, budgeting, and cost/benefit analysis to optimize resources. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, and manage jobs from quote to fulfillment. Documentation: Continue to build a library of technical resource information, track budget expenses and assist in training team members for support. Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance to ensure efficiency and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Highly proficient in Cisco networking, Cisco WiFi, VMWare, Veeam, Genetec video security and access control, AD, Windows Server and Fortinet. Policy Development: Assist to develop, maintain, and enforce IT and security policies and procedures to standardize operations and ensure security and compliance. Interdepartmental Coordination: Serve as a liaison with the Corporate IT department and other group companies, ensuring effective communication and project alignment. Reporting: Regularly report to management on project status, incidents, and other relevant metrics to keep stakeholders informed. Continuous Improvement: Standardize duties and pursue continuous improvement in IT processes and system utilization. Provide end users with a professional and empathetic source for problem resolutions. Exercise judgement in planning and execution to provide solutions in-line with Aisin principles and practices.
