Perform administrative aspects of system management pertaining to the Picture Archival and Communication Systems (PACS). Manage database and server groups. Perform daily management of PACS anomalies and change process to prevent recurrence. Perform daily management of transcription issues and follow up on all reports not finalized. Manage imaging IS projects from inception to completion. Provide input for operations and capital budget requests. Provide direction and coordination of end user training. Liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the department and other departments. Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred. Sonography Tech preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
