Cardiac Progressive Patient Care Technician
Patient Care Technicians (PCT's) provide care to a highly acute population of cardiac progressive patients in a fast paced environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge in a highly specialized, rewarding, and mentoring environment. Prefer hospital experience, providing patient care support. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer. Responsibilities include performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, aiding with movement and placement of patients, assisting patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, reporting findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff, documenting necessary records, and keeping patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintaining medical equipment. Requirements include BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
