Supervisor Of Residential Treatment

Acadiana Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Supervisor of Residential Treatment to provide safe and effective day-to-day supervision of all residential staff through adequate staff coverage, training and developing sound policies, procedures and protocols. Essential Functions: Provide guidance and direction to staff and encourage/build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members. Develop and follow budget for residential programs including food, safety and maintenance. Coordinate menu with dietician and have secure written dietician approval on a yearly basis. Develop and implement quality management requirements for residential program by determining criteria to be monitored, collection of data and compiling information for monthly, quarterly and yearly reports. Oversee orientation of new students with patient rights, review of handbook and signing all necessary paperwork. Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. Provide training for debriefing, de-escalation and restraint, safety, CPR, First Aid, Food Handler's permits for all therapeutic and residential supervisory staff. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing for clinical days and recreational activities. Provide transportation for patient as needed. May include driving of facility motor vehicle or coordinating transportation with appropriate staff member. Coordinate residential care with the academic and clinical team to ensure the residential program is supportive. Work as a BHA as needed. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. Other Functions: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
