Senior Manager, Total Rewards Strategy Integration and Planning
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, Michigan three times per week, at minimum. The Senior Manager, Total Rewards Strategy Integration and Planning will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving a unified Total Rewards (TR) strategy across the organization. This leader will be responsible for integrating functional reward strategies into a cohesive enterprise-wide approach, enhancing portfolio management rigor, and establishing a centralized structure for TR program management, communications, and strategic planning. As the TRER strategy planner and portfolio leader, your primary responsibilities include; TRER long and short-term strategy development, developing (and managing) a GM Total Rewards Investment Plan (TRIP) and aligning the TRIP cycle to GM's long-range plan, managing the TR portfolio, leading TR change management, serving as the business lead for TR communications, and serving as the TRER AI Champion. Your duties may involve conducting research, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for TR investment/divestment, scanning external landscape for potential future partners, managing the TRER P&L, and more. Collaboration with the full TRER LT, Global HR LT, and other teams such as other center of excellence and field HR teams, finance, legal, and communications will be crucial to ensure cohesive and integrated planning efforts. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our strategies, and making data-driven adjustments when necessary, will be part of your responsibilities to achieve optimal results. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as you'll be working closely with key leaders across the company and championing our transformation/change efforts. Responsibilities: Manage/Run the TRER Portfolio and Portfolio Review Process Develop and Manage the GM Total Rewards Investment Process (TRIP) Lead TRER AI transformation, in close partnership with VP HR Transformation and team Support VP TRER in the organization and running of the business Manage planning processes, including operating and budget reviews Work closely with the leadership team and extended team and act as the proxy for the VP TRER Work closely with other business planners to coordinate initiatives Develop and conduct presentations and materials; work closely with business partners Identify and implement process improvements for functional level business management Actively pick up on the fly, help organize and assign and act on new pieces of work that may arise Develop the OKRs and team objectives and tasks for the upcoming year. Lead the effort outside the room and facilitate the discuss in the room Work in strong partnership and collaboration with the HR team Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, HR strategy, or related areas. Proven experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and program governance. Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management capabilities. Preferred Skills: Experience in building or leading a PMO within HR or Total Rewards. Familiarity with change management and organizational design principles. Proficiency in data visualization and strategic reporting tools. Relocation: This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
