Full-Time Day Shift at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000.00. Salary: $35.78 - $49.88 per hour Responsibilities include assisting with procedures and providing diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards. Requirements include BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred. High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences: 4x10 hour shifts (7:00am - 5:30pm) a week, 1 overnight call weekly and weekend call coverage every 4 weeks.
